That Kind of Friend

You are one of those that I need

Please, don't forget our friendship, that's what I plead

Because every time I'm with you,

You encourage me in the things that I do. 

You say no and don’t help me in some things

When you know it can hurt me with the misfortune that it brings.

You say yes, when I beg you

to be my friend through the ages

You comfort me when I'm sad

You enlighten me when I'm mad

But one of the best things that I heard in you,

Is that when you say, "God bless to you!"

In things where I began to lose hope,

You still say, "Don't worry, you can still cope"

It makes me feel okay.

and it made me like you in a unique way

Now, that what makes each friend special.

So let us not forget each other, its wound is fatal.
